Dab Hand says: This jigsaw depicts a summer afternoon in the 1950s where locals and holiday-makers watch as “The Cornishman” headed by “Castle” class 4-6-0 No. 5070 “Sir Daniel Gooch” pulls into Birmingham’s Snow Hill station. The artist of this atmospheric scene is Philip D Hawkins, who grew up in the same city and later became a founder member of the Guild of Railway Artists.
You say: “Really enjoyed it, thank you! Probably one that’s best done in good light or long daylight hours but loved the challenge.”
