This Privacy Policy and Cookie Statement describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or decide to make purchase or loan when viewing dabhandpuzzles.uk (the “Site”), which is operated by Dab Hand Puzzles & Pastimes. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.

When you contact us to make an enquiry, make a purchase or request a loan we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, delivery address, phone number, and payment information where appropriate. We currently do not take payment through our website. Payment arrangements are made directly. (All credit card information is encrypted as we only take these payments by a card reader device with a payment link to your mobile.) We refer to this information as “Order Information”. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders (including processing your payment information where necessary, arranging for delivery, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or updates relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our promotions).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal data and share it only under very limited circumstances as noted below.

Please note that all contact forms on this site are protected from spam by reCAPTCHA and their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. 
If we share content from third party sites such as YouTube, their terms of service will apply.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us.  

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order for a purchase, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
You may request for your loan history to be deleted and your details removed. We will delete your information when any outstanding loans are returned.
You can email us at any time to ask us to remove your details from any lists for marketing purposes.

STORING YOUR DATA
Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; we have enabled a HTTPs security certificate but cannot guarantee it, any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use our own procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. Additionally, please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

MINORS
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 8.
