Dab Hand says: Contrary to the name, this game originated in Germany in 1892 and is a simplified version of the American game, Halma. The object of this simple strategy game is to race one’s pegs from one side of the hexagram-shaped board to the other. Pegs can be moved one space at a time into a vacant hole or by leapfrogging one or more pegs into vacant holes with each step. The quality rubberwood finish makes this a beautiful and striking addition to any coffee table.
