Dab Hand says: This colourful circular jigsaw depicts all the trappings of a trip to the beach in the Edwardian era. One young couple proudly watch as their children go on a donkey ride. Other youngsters are building sandcastles or distracting their father who is trying to sleep in his deckchair. There are a few tears and squabbles as well as happy faces. Waddingtons produced a great variety of circular jigsaws over the years – this one dates from 1987 but the puzzle is still in good condition. The irregular pieces make it both fun and challenging to complete.
