Dab Hand says: The Lake District is the UK’s biggest national park. It has been popular with walkers, climbers and holiday makers ever since the Romantic poets first arrived and celebrated its beauty in the 19th century. This jigsaw features some of its most famous sites. From top centre they are Helvellyn (blended into Glenridding), below to the left is Brantwood (John Ruskin’s home), Wray Castle, Ashness Bridge with Pooley Bridge hiding behind Rydal Mount. Beneath this is Derwent Water, with boats from Coniston and Windermere and a boat House from Ullswater. On the bottom is Dove Cottage (Wordsworth’s house on the edge of Grasmere), St Michael & All Angels Church, Hawkshead, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, Bridge House Ambleside and Hill Top, Sawrey (Beatrix Potter’s house). This montage was created by artist Kevin Robinson.
