Dab Hand says: This collectable jigsaw, featuring a giant snowball about to be launched at Father Christmas (product code SJ 827), is one of a series of published by Beaverbook Newspapers from the covers of the Giles cartoon annuals. It is featured in the coloured plates section of “British Jigsaw Puzzles of the Twentieth Century” by Tom Tyler (Richard Dennis, 1997). The jigsaw is in good condition for its vintage (copyright 1976) – see the gallery photo. The box has some scuff marks along with some sellotape and pen marks on the reverse but is in otherwise fair condition (photos available on request).
