Dab Hand says: This striking portrait format photographic jigsaw depicts the fairy tale castle in Germany, Schloss Neuschwanstein. King Ludwig II of Bavaria commissioned the castle in 1868 “in the authentic style of the old German knights’ castles” as he wrote to his friend, the composer Richard Wagner. The castle was intended as a private retreat for the reclusive king but it is now one of the most visited castles in Europe. The photo credit is Mauritius.
