Dab Hand says: This jigsaw by artist Terry Harrison depicts young holiday makers searching for crabs in the harbour of Robin Hood’s Bay, an old fishing village on the Heritage Coast of the North York Moors. There is no evidence that Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest folklore visited the Bay and it is thought that the name derives from legends of local origin. In the 18th century, the Bay was the centre of a busy smuggling community.
