Dab Hand says: This unusual and atmospheric wooden jigsaw shows two young boys looking across to a Lancaster Bomber. The artist Robin Smith (a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists) said that this painting reinforced his appreciation of the value of the all too forgotten ground crew during World War II. The jigsaw has an intricate cut, meaning border pieces are not immediately obvious. It also includes the famous Wentworth whimsies, which are shaped pieces themed to match the puzzle (see the gallery image). The pieces come in a cloth bag and this rarely available jigsaw would make a fine gift for any aeroplane enthusiast.
